The base game has gabled half gable hipped and half hipped roof styles along with their diagonal versions. Although all of the new roofs are made from glass they each have a different pattern.

In the latest sims 4 patch june 2018 the sims team added six new roof patterns that allow you to create glass roofs in your game. The addition of octagonal hexagonal pentagonal and circular roofs into the game provides players with tons of new options to experiment with. Thanks to the sims team as of november 2017 we have 4 brand new roof types in the sims 4. The sims 4 revamps the roof system completely.
